Emte. Boutique was founded by a Gold Coast girl who felt that there was a gap to be filled for fashion jewellery and accessories that are cutting edge, stylish, on trend and affordable. Emte is now a must visit store on James St located in the iconic region Burleigh Head on the Gold Coast for the fashion forward.
Emte is turning traditional retail placement on its head to bring on-trend accessories from an afterthought to front and centre.
Due to the success of Emte's Burleigh Heads Boutique and the growing demand for it's selection of jewellery, bags, sunglasses and high fashion clothing, Emte has now opened a beautiful new store in Byron Bay, Lawson Street.
To say Emma Stevenson, owner of Emte, is passionate about accessories is a colossal understatement. Her beachside boutiques are a shrine for chic embellishments, quality leather goods and signature pieces that promise to complete any outfit.
The minimalist shelves showcase a carefully curated range from local jewellery makers like Krystle Knight alongside well-loved brands including Samantha Wills, Nicole Fendel,The Horse watches, Naked Vice and Status Anxiety as well as Emte’s own range of handbags designed by Emma herself. Emte also stocks pieces from Australian High fashion labels Steele, Cameo Collective, The Fifth Label and Finders Keepers, Urge Footwear, Skins and Therapy.
The eclectic range offers pieces to suit an array of tastes and styles, from dainty chains through to chunky gypsy-esque stone rings and statement cuffs. Emte is for the free-spirits, the girls who are anything but ordinary. There are also things to be found for the boys such as Stitch & Hide leather belts, Quay sunglasses, Status Anxiety Backpacks and Graine wallets
Fashion powerhouse Marc Jacobs one mused, “any opportunity to adorn oneself is human, and accessories are an easy way to do it”. He could very well have had Emte in mind when he said it.
